It is that other nation, the one that is reconstructed beyond the line called the border. They are migrants in searching for better opportunities and quality of life. It is made up of 35 million people of Mexican origin who, according to recent figures, make up 63% of the Hispanic population living in the United States. Mexicans who crossed the border and managed to become an important economic force, contribute 8% to the US Gross Domestic Product, whether harvesting the fields or as business owners, while always finding ways to maintain their traditions, reproduce their customs, their food and his music.

The millions of Mexicans living in the US represent about 15% of the population, with the majority living in California (11.4 million) and Texas (7.9 million), the two largest state economies.
